Hey, my name is Andrew and my 4 year old tabby cat Roger recently had inflammation on his gums, I took him to the vet and vet said they are painful lesions that need immediate dental work (tooth extraction). He had blood work to make sure he was healthy and okay to take an anesthetic (plus scheduled rabies shot and check-up, that bill last week was ~$800). Vet just called and said his blood work came back perfect and she was forwarding over an estimate for the dental work. I was not expecting it to cost this much and honestly can't afford it at the moment, I am a college student and struggle just to get myself by as is.
