Hi! I am a 20yr old college student who’s funding my own education, with a black cat named lou! (after lou reed). Unfortunately he had a life threatening urinary blockage related to high amounts of minerals/debris in his bladder, leading to a shockingly high medical bill of about 6k at the emergency vet that neither me or my family can afford. This comes up during a time where me and my family are already facing some financial hardships, making this sudden bill even more unfortunate.
