Help College Freshman Replace Stolen Items for Dorm

Hey everyone! My nephew/cousin, Ty'Shawn Ewings, just moved into Goldey–Beacom College in Delaware today to begin his freshman year. The night before move-in, while their car was parked outside of a nearby hotel, thieves broke in and took EVERYTHING. I am helping out so he can get settled at school today. But he is on a track scholarship, and they even took his track shoes.

His mom is a single mom, so this is devastating.

I started this GoFundMe, because I want Ty -- a very talented athlete who received a track scholarship -- to have a good solid start at school in spite of what happened. If any excess funds are raised, they will be used to support Ty during school and to purchase items not covered by his scholarship, such as books.

In addition to being a great athlete, Ty is truly a nice, caring young man. I can't wait to see what he does next. Here are some news clips of stories written during his high school years:
