Help Colleen on her long road to recovery

Story

Hi my name is Lindsay, Colleen is my sister in law. On March 23, 2022, Colleen was brutally attacked by her long time husband (my brother), who has been battling a psychiatric crisis and paranoid psychosis, for nearly 12 weeks. Colleen was stabbed in her head, neck, and face nearly a dozen times, as well as her chest and left arm/hand nearly severing her thumb. Colleen underwent a five hour limb saving surgery upon admission into the trauma center, but has a long way to go on her physical recovery alone. Colleen was a house wife for her 16 years of marriage and a stay at home mom raising their daughter, Kayleigh. Her husband is currently being held on attempted murder charges, and Colleen and Kayleigh will have no insurance or income, of any kind, effective immediately. While Colleen heals from the fight of her life, as well as the mental and emotional trauma responses to follow, she will also need to find a way to keep herself and her daughter afloat. Please consider donating any amount; every single penny counts.
