Help Colleen Byrne Rebuild Classroom After Fire
Donation protected
Hi, many of you have probably heard about the three-alarm fire at Our Mother of Consolation Catholic School on March 21st.
My little sister, Colleen Byrne was there at the time of the fire working at the after cares program and watched as 120 firefighters spent over 2 hours extinguishing the fire that completely destroyed her first-ever classroom. While she cannot get back many of the sentimental items that were lost in the fire, I am hoping we can help her to rebuild her classroom.
Colleen has put so much time and effort into creating a classroom that was an enjoyable space for all of her students. As a big sister, I was so proud to see how much pride and excitement she had when she showed me her class set-up. I am now heartbroken that she has lost it all.
Colleen has had to pay out of pocket for almost all of the learning support supplies she had in her classroom. Catholic schools rarely receive any government aid/funding for these types of purchases
There is no donation too big or small, everything helps!
