Help Colleen and Peter Rebuild After Hurricane

Hi. I’m Hilda Porro and I feel very lucky to have spent time with Colleen and Peter in Asheville the last few months. I’ve known Colleen since the day she was born; she and my daughter Cristi were born the same day. Her parents have been friends of mine since high school. She and Peter have been together the last few years and have created a wonderful life together in Asheville. During Hurricane Helene they went over and above watching out for me. The storm was devastating.

Peter is a talented stone sculptor and his studio was destroyed with water to the ceiling. His van was totaled when a huge tree fell on it. The gallery where Colleen has been working as the director was also under water- up to the ceiling on the second floor! It’s all beyond belief. They are both such hard workers and their regular day to day lives were taken from them so tragically and unexpectedly. So many things to figure out. Funds will help to start over- new car, new studio, and all the other unexpected expenses along the way. Please help!
