Help Colin Survive The Winter

Hi my name is Colin. I’m a skydiving instructor. Or at least I was until I broke my back about a month ago. I’m recovering physically, not gonna lie I’m not doing well mentally, but I am unable to work (I haven’t received a paycheck in a month) and thusly my funds are dwindling. Skydiving instructors are independent contractors so I only make money when I’m jumping (working). I have no idea when I will be able to return to work. As much as I have no income it doesn’t mean that I don’t have money going out. I have no aspirations to ever repay my medical bills, I’m looking for help with daily living with no idea when I’ll be able to work again. Whether it be simple things like food, medications, eventual PT, spoiling my dog or debilitating bills such as car payments, eventual rent and the unexpected bills we all know are always around the corner. I need to move in the next month. The more of a cushion I have the longer I can survive. If you know me at all you know that I live to work and will be working as soon as, if not before, I am physically able to.

I dread doing this. I don’t want help. This is a situation where I NEED help. People have been asking me if I need anything and I’ve either told them no, I’m fine or deflected. If you’ve wanted to help this is your opportunity. Thanks for your time.
