Everybody needs a hand up at some point in their life. Trauma can catch up with all of us and even the toughest folks can get knocked down to the ground. I'm Stan Reed and I am asking for your help with my friend, Colin Ridley. I have known Colin since we were teenagers, but in the last few years, we lost touch. I feared him dead as he was deeply struggling when I was last in contact with him. I was ecstatic to find out that his ex-wife had recently found him and been able to reunite him with his 18 year old daughter, who he had also not seen in many years. I was horrified to learn that he had been homeless and living on the streets for some time now. I immediately traveled from Mississippi to North Carolina to see him and was even more horrified to learn 1st hand of his actual physical condition from the injuries he has gotten from his time on the streets. He is in serious need of medical attention and treatment. He is now housed temporarily and we are hoping to raise enough money to ensure that he can remain that way long enough for us to help him with medical attention and to enable him to heal from his time on the streets. Colin has had to deal with a lot of trauma in his life, just as well all have, but he is the one who needs a little extra help right now. Im going to do everything that I can to ensure that he can succeed. I hope that some of you can help us too.
