We are Colin and Amy Shea, a couple living in Milford, MA, who have always tried to give back to our community. Over the years, we've supported various charities, animal organizations, and especially enjoyed helping children in need. Now, we find ourselves in a position where we need to ask for help.

Recently, both of us underwent extensive back surgery. I (Colin) am a personal chef, but due to my recovery, I am unable to work and bring in the income we depend on. Amy is completely disabled and receives SSI and Workman's Comp, which helps us cover our rent and some utilities. We have received deferments from National Grid and Eversource, but the back bills on each are still quite large. Thankfully, MassHealth covers our medical needs, but we are barely able to make rent, and it’s tough to keep up with everything else.

Our most urgent need right now is help with our car payments, which have fallen behind. Without our car, it would be nearly impossible to get to medical appointments or manage daily life. While Brigham & Women provides a few hours of home health aid each week and some food support, it’s still a struggle to manage basic tasks due to pain and limited mobility. We have always tried to help others, and now we are reaching out to our community for support. Any help you can offer would mean the world to us and help us regain some stability during this difficult time.
