Hi Everyone! My name is Claudia, I am Colette’s friend/coworker. I am representing Colette in helping her get some donation to help her manage her expenses that come with getting a liver transplant and daily living expenses. Colette has been battling liver disease since the beginning of 2019. She’s been in and out of the hospital since then. She has tried multiple times to come back to work, but she struggles to finish the day due to a mixture of pain, discomfort and exhaustion. As of September Colette has been out of work battling all the problems that come with liver disease. She spent her Thanksgiving day and weekend at the hospital. The only good thing that came out of it was that she was finally placed on the transplant list as high priority! Which would generally come as a relief. A glimpse of hope with all the pain she is enduring. She was discharged today (12/03/2020), but is having to stay at a hotel for two weeks because her family members at her house have COVID. She has tested negative twice while at the hospital. Today, she texted me to basically tell us everything I just told you. On top of that she asked for donations, but the 9 girls at our work can’t donate enough to keep her afloat. Colette has waited and been through so many testing that have tested her body’s strength so I hate the fact that she can’t celebrate being placed on the transplant list because she’s worried about how she’s going to live day by day. Colette is a prideful woman. She has not asked for help from ANYBODY, even her own family, and us in the department she works at as well. She has always been SO strong through everything she has endured. All I’m asking for is any type of financial donation. It could be a quarter! I would be thankful for helping out Colette. She is a beautiful person inside and out and it’s time that she lets us help her out. Thank you again!
