Dearest Friends and Family,

Many of you have come to know and love Coleslaw, my sweetest prince and fur baby. Earlier this year, he went through some difficult health struggles. Ultimately, he was given a drug called Librella that, over the last year, has taken the energy and life from my little dude. Unfortunately, this drug has a rare recovery prognosis, and I've been so incredibly lucky to have this time with him.

Recently, I decided to make a change for my own mental and physical health, to be able to better care for not only myself but also Coleslaw. He and I made an agreement that we would make it here together, and if he was ready once we settled in, I would help him cross the rainbow bridge.

This is a hard and emotional message to write. I've made the difficult choice to help him make his journey this Wednesday afternoon. My love for this gentle and goofy creature surpasses what I've known of love. He has carried me through the most difficult moments of my life. I never imagined he wouldn't be chasing squirrels into his golden years, but I'm grateful to have given him the best care and all the love a mother can for her child.

With this recent move and still locating work, finances are very limited. I'm humbly asking for aid with his end-of-life and internment expenses. I have chosen in-home passing and cremation. Respectfully, I wish to give him the most comfortable experience and carry him with me till I find a place for him to rest.
