Some of you may have already heard, but Cole has recently been diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. He has been sick for about a month, which started off with a persistent cough. After multiple ER visits and a visit to a primary care doctor, some lab work was done. We got a call at 9 pm one evening saying he needed to go to the ER because his white blood count was really high. They then referred him to an oncologist who gave him this diagnosis. He had a bone marrow biopsy done, and it confirmed that diagnosis. We are still learning a lot, and there are still a lot of unknowns. We do know that it is not curable, but it is treatable. This is something that he will have to live with for the rest of his life, not being able to ring that bell.

With him being off work for so long, it has been a struggle to pay the monthly expenses and his co-pays for the Drs and medications. I'm just here asking for a little help for him so he can have some relief.
