Cole and Lindsay, my brother and his girlfriend, lived in the North Union Apartment complex in Salt Lake City, which caught on fire Friday morning, June 31st. The fire started in the attic above the sprinkler system, so it was able to grow very quickly. Fortunately, everyone was evacuated and no one was hurt, but their whole life was in their apartment. The ceiling has completely collapsed, and what hasn't been destroyed by fire is likely to have been destroyed by smoke and water. If they are ever allowed back in, they are starting from scratch.

The funds raised will help Cole and Lindsay rebuild their lives. They need essentials like clothes, toiletries, cooking supplies, and furniture, as well as a down payment for wherever they move next. Cole lost his guitar, they lost all of their artwork, and Lindsay lost a lot of cash she was setting aside. They lost everything, so this would be going to building them back up. Most of what was lost cannot be replaced, sadly, like all their printed photos and letters. But at least this could help in a devastating moment.

Cole and Lindsay are feeling very overwhelmed. I know it will be hard and overwhelming to receive support like this, but they really need it. Any little bit helps them! If you aren't able to share financially, maybe you can share this campaign with someone who knows them, loves them and can! I would just love for them to have a bit of support as they move onto the next chapter starting over.
