Help Cole Kick Cancer's Butt ... Again!

Our family has decided to open this gofundme account for our beloved Cole. We are reaching out to friends, family, and the community to help Cole with living expenses while he kicks cancers butt...again.
In 2000, Cole was diagnosed with testicular cancer at age 16. The cancer was quite aggressive and quickly spread throughout his entire body, eventually reaching his brain. It was a miserable year, lots of perseverance and fighting with not much hope of recovery. However, with the love and support of his mother, family and friends, and with his own strength, Cole fought the cancer and went into remission.
Fast forward 18 years, in February of 2019, Cole went to the emergency room for a severe pain in his side. After extensive testing, he was informed that his aggressive cancer had returned with new tumors in other parts of his body. There is a Germ Cell tumor in his liver, as well as other tumors that have yet to be defined. This is a rare, late relapse for this type of cancer that only affects 1 to 3 percent of patients.
Cole volunteers his time with many cancer fundraising organizations. One of his most passionate projects is serving annually as a camp counselor of Camp UKANDU: a camp with the purpose of motivating children with cancer. He most recently has been giving talks and sharing his experiences as a child with cancer for the Doernbecher Survivorship Program. This program is meant to raise awareness for the long-term effects of chemotherapy on children. Cole has also participated in kiteboarding for cancer.
With the return of his cancer, Cole will now be going back to chemotherapy as well as later surgeries. This means more medical expenses that no one expected. It comes as no surprise that he doesn’t want anyone to shoulder this burden for him, but we just want to help by relieving some of the financial burdens of basic living and medical expenses because we know he won’t ask! We want all his energy to go to fighting and kicking this illness’ butt.
We would appreciate your donation, even the smallest amount helps. This is not going to be a quick resolution and will be a difficult journey for Cole. By sharing with your network, we can all give back to someone who has been giving to others for so long.
