Help Cole Fisher's Road to Recovery: #FightWithFish

Donation protected
On February 4th, 2025, Cole Fisher, was doing a routine lift with the University of Oregon baseball team when his ankle gave out and 210 lbs of weight fell onto his back, fracturing his L1 vertebrae and compressing his spinal cord. He had very little, if any, movement or feeling in his legs as he was rushed to the hospital and into surgery to decompress his spinal cord. He had a T11-L3 spinal fusion to repair the damage.

While everything had to go perfectly wrong for this injury to occur, everything and everyone was perfectly right in getting him the quick help and treatment he needed. Cole’s mom, Katie Fisher, and father, Andy Fisher, got to Oregon as quickly as possible, leaving their home in Horsham, Pennsylvania along with their three other children, Mia (age 16), Evan (age 8), and Jace (age 5). They found Cole beaten, but not broken. Cole’s spirit and attitude have been unshaken. He knows the road is long, but is determined to cross that finish line better than ever.

Cole’s journey will be long, and so many of you have generously asked how you could help support Cole through this process. We would like to use this page as an outlet to do that. Cole is currently receiving treatment at the Craig Hospital: Neurorehabilitation Center in Colorado.

Thank you for your support, your prayers, and your kindness as Cole fights every day to recover and move forward.
