Help Col Sanjeev Kumar Get Cancer Therapy
$35,302 raised of
Message from Mrs Kavita Jaswal
Mrs Kavita Jaswal, Col Sanjeev Kumar’s wife and primary caregiver, is asking for help during an extreme medical crisis. Col Sanjeev Kumar, a serving Indian Army Officer, was diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer while serving in Leh, Ladakh, India, in July 2025. He developed gastric outlet obstruction and underwent major surgery called gastrojejunostomy to bypass the intestinal obstruction, followed by 16 cycles of chemotherapy and CyberKnife radiotherapy. Sadly, the tumor was inoperable from the beginning because of its close proximity to major blood vessels in the abdomen. His latest PET scan has shown disease progression, with an increase in the size of the pancreatic tumor and metastases to the peritoneum and lymph nodes. After exhausting every viable treatment option available in India, one final option is targeted therapy, currently available only in the USA. He is currently admitted in Tristar Centennial Hospital in Nashville and is being treated with Revolution Medicine’s newly approved pancreatic cancer pill, Rasonque, which has an estimated annual list price of $475,000. He is not covered under any US health insurance. With folded hands, Mrs Kavita humbly asks for support so Col Sanjeev can access this treatment and get best fighting chance for the sake of his loving family.
