Hi, my name is Lisa James. My husband, Coedy, is a retired US Army Combat Veteran with 22 years of service and a Purple Heart to show for his dedication to our country. Coedy has been diagnosed with kidney cancer, which came out of the blue for us, and is scheduled for surgery on October 9th to remove his right kidney. Needless to say, this cancer has taken a toll, financially and mentally, on both of us. I am reaching out to our friends, the community, and any fellow veterans who can help us reach our goal to help cover our out-of-pocket expenses, i.e., hotel, gas, and meals.
