Hi. Im Cody. A musician, visual artist, and line cook/food service worker living in New Orleans for seven years now. ​The past three years have been a relentless series of misfortunes, ranging from back to back job losses due to closure/bankruptcy, hurricane Ida recovery, to the emotional distress of being mistreated by both an irresponsible property mgmt as well as a year and a half long back to back struggle with the New Orleans S&WB resulting in a bogus $8k bill earlier this year (2025) A lack of communication and disregard for my well-being has left me in a desperate, time-sensitive situation.

​I'm now in a race against the clock to find and secure a new apartment, all while trying to finish paying for an extensive, long-overdue full-mouth reconstruction that i started in the fall of 2023, where I've now undergone several surgeries and extractions making it very difficult to eat and more importantly...smile. The dental work is essential for my physical health and has been a major source of emotional distress. I've depleted my savings covering initial costs for both my current living situation and dental work, and I'm humbly asking for help to cover the remaining expenses which has proven to be very difficult/near impossible for me in this current, uncertain economic landscape.
