Help Cody Save His Beloved Dog Cleo

Anyone that knows me understands how big of a part my animals play in my life. I’ve rescued numerous reptiles, dogs, rabbits, etc over the years bringing several back from deaths door all on my own dime. It’s something I love doing and I’ve been honored to be apart of they’re lives. Unfortunately now I’m the one that needs some help. My dog Cleo who is much more like family then a dog need’s emergency surgery. She was diagnosed this morning with Pyometra, and she needs her uterus removed in order to save her life. I maxed out every credit card that I have and emptied my bank account to save her but the bills are extremely expensive and I had no time for preparation as it came on out of nowhere. They are going to start stacking up and even though it goes against everything in me I’m asking for help. If anyone out there has the ability to help me in anyway it would be beyond appreciated. I’m more then willing to provide ver bills to anyone who would like proof. Thank you again for your consideration. -Cody

For those of you who don’t know yet cleo is home. She had her surgery Friday morning and came home Saturday. Today I got an urgent call from home saying she was bleeding a lot from her wound. I rushed home from work and unfortunately Medvet urgent care in Girard was the only vet open. We got there as fast as we could and they told us her sutures were intact and that she was bleeding from somewhere beneath. They informed us it would be 600$. Some very kind people have reached out to me and given private donations so we used that to cover it. They informed us that is was a blood vessel and would probably clot on its own. When we were walking out they informed us that they were putting an additional charge on the card for an additional 127$. For what you may ask? To apply a bandage. We have bandages at home keep in mind. We did not consent to this second charge and I’m beyond baffled that a bandage that they are taking off tomorrow at her checkup that we now have to schedule cost us 127$. So tack on todays vet bill and we are sitting at about 3000$ in debt. I have a daughter that’s turning 1 in three weeks. I should be planning a party but instead I’m pulling my hair out wondering what we are going to do if they have to cut her back open tomorrow. People have been more then generous and I appreciate all the help more then I can even describe but if you could please just share the link below it would help me beyond what you could even understand. I’ve reached out to countless places and networks that help with vet bills but all for the most part have told me that if it’s already been paid that they can’t help. I’m at my wits end and don’t really know where to even go from here. I’ve never in my life been even close to as stressed out as I have been the last few days. I will continue to do whatever possible to make sure my Cleo is okay, but I never could have imagined what all would come from a vet visit about a loss of appetite.
