Help Cody March DCI!

Hello, everyone! Marching percussion has been a huge part of my life for the past few years, and it has become something I’m deeply passionate about. This summer, I’ll be taking the first major step in my marching career by spending my summer with the Blue Stars, a world-class corps.

Drum Corps International, better known as DCI, combines elements of music, movement, and visual storytelling to create high-energy, competitive performances. It is an art form that pushes performers to grow both musically and personally. Being part of this activity has shaped who I am today, and I am very excited to begin this incredible journey.

I will be spending the first month of summer in Iowa, rehearsing many hours a day, crafting a show with other talented musicians and an amazing staff from around the world. After preparing the show to the best of our abilities, we will travel by bus, competing and performing for tens of thousands of people across the nation, and eventually end the season at DCI finals in Indianapolis, where all groups come together and compete.

However, participating at this level comes with significant costs, including uniforms, travel, food, equipment, show design, and more. I’m reaching out for support to help make this dream a reality.
