Hello everyone, if you don’t know me, my name is Cody. I have moved from Nashville to Wisconsin for a kidney transplant. This GoFundMe is to help me raise money to stay in Minneapolis after my kidney transplant, which will cost upwards of $2000 because I will be required to live in a hotel for 3 to 4 weeks while they monitor my kidney. I will be sent home after they feel I can travel and the kidney is doing fine.

The money will also go towards fixing my car and or I will sell it and put that money with the fundraiser money and by a car I don’t have to out put money into right away. I'm asking for help because next month, at the end of the month, my transplant file will be re-reviewed by the transplant committee and they need to know that I basically have all my ducks in a row before adding me, and yes, that means my finances as well.

My car that I have now is a 2005 Toyota Camry with 321,000 miles on it and is starting to have some serious problems. I would like to raise money to fix the problems that it is having, hoping it will last. As a new car would be way too expensive, I am only asking for help because I am in a place where I cannot fix the problems it has and/or save the money for the transplant. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. My goal with with fund it to save 2-3 thousand to pay for the hotel I will have to save in while they monitor my new kidney and the will got towards a new vehicle and I will be sell my car and putting money with the go fund me money.
