Help Cody Clark replace his "tour bus"

My name is Cody Clark and I'm a 26 year old professional magician/autistic self-advocate based in Louisville, KY. I tour fringe festivals, theatres, libraries, autism/disabilities organizations, and perform for private clients with my three main magic shows:

A Different Way of Thinking - My hour long solo show in which I combine magic, comedy, and storytelling to share what  living with autism is like for me.

Conductor Cody - My 30 minute children's magic show inspired by my childhood love of trains in which I take audiences on magical railway adventures.

Cody Clark Magic - My all purposes magic shows in which my routines are still uniquely Cody and based in real life's magic moments, yet appropriate for most events and venues. 

I've been a full-time professional magician since my graduation from the University of Louisville in 2015 and for the past five years, have built up my client base, received critical acclaim, was recognized by the Society of American Magicians as their 2017 Rising Star of Magic, performed on the Louisville Palace stage with magic legend/fellow Butler High School graduate Lance Burton, and was recently profiled by my hometown newspaper the Courier-Journal: Cody Clark Courier Article 

A big reason for this success was the reliability of my 2004 Ford Escape, a.k.a. my "tour bus". It's allowed me to reach audiences as far north as NYC, as far south as Orlando, and as far west as Kansas City, plus other cities big and small! It served me well during college and my five years of officially being in business, but it's overheated on me twice in 2020 and is currently stalled with motor issues. So it's time for an upgrade! To make this as easy as possible for my business, my family, and myself, I'd like to ask for your help! 

I am seeking to raise at least $2,500 to supplement my personal finances and gain the best loan terms possible for my next "tour bus". My financial calculations have determined this goal amount combined with my personal finances will allow me to place a sizable down payment and gain favorable monthly terms on a newer used vehicle. (Ideally priced between $8,000-$12,000 with 75,000 miles or less) This will allow my business to maintain capital to update marketing materials, take part in networking events, and run its daily operations. 

My timeline for making the upgrade is a bit flexible. I have a few weeks before my first engagement of 2020 outside of my local travel radius, so my hope is to have funding in place by the end of February so I can start my major 2020 performances/travels with the peace of mind of knowing that I'll get to my gigs safe and sound. Your help in meeting or exceeding this goal will mean a lot to me and will ensure my magic, story, and missions continue reaching audiences across America! Any amount, big or small, helps.
