On August 17, 2024, our beloved Cody Cavender experienced a devastating accident while swimming. He suffered a severe neck injury that required an extensive, over 6-hour surgery, during which his C2-C7 vertebrae and parts of T1 were removed. As a result, Cody is currently paralyzed from the chest down, including his hands.

Cody is the loving husband of Jessica and a devoted father to five wonderful children: Lucas, Logan, Landon, Zayne, and Maddi. He has always been the cornerstone of his family, both emotionally and financially. Now, as Cody embarks on a long and challenging road to recovery, his family is facing significant financial burdens. While we remain hopeful that Cody will regain the ability to walk again, the journey ahead is uncertain and will require extensive rehabilitation and care.

With Cody unable to work, Jessica is shouldering the immense responsibility of caring for him and their children. The family is in urgent need of financial support to cover medical expenses, daily living costs, and other unforeseen expenses that have arisen from this tragedy.
