*UPDATE*

I am doing well! I am back to work but still on light duty. We finally got into the Orthopedic and Spine Center for evaluation of my back. The Dr was pleased with how I am is healing. I will be fully released on July 1st! So grateful for all of you who have prayed and donated! It has helped so much. We are still waiting to see what the doctor and ambulance bills will be. Praying my insurance pays decently! Again, thank you all so much for the prayers and donations! Every little bit helps!

My name is Cody Battles and the morning of May 15th I was on my way to work and swerved to miss a deer and my right tire went off the right side of the road. I over corrected and went across the highway and ran off the left side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned, struck 2 trees and returned to the road. I wasn't wearing my seatbelt and thankfully I wasn't ejected from the vehicle. I crawled out thru the space where the windshield should have been. I shouldn't have walked away from this. I am thankful that I only walked away from this with a large laceration on my head and a compression fracture in my back. Unfortunately I did not have full coverage insurance on the car! I still owe on the personal loan that I took out when I bought the car. I still have to follow up with my doctor to see if I will continue to be off work due to my back injury. I will also have medical bills that I will need to pay. I am so thankful to still be here! It would mean so much to me and help tremendously if you can find it in your heart to help me during this difficult time.
