Help Cody Battle Bi Focal Germinoma Brain Cancer

Hello everyone, my dear friends Kirsten Nuttall and Taylor Winterbottom whom were my neighbors and Trican family for several wonderful years, and continue to be very close to my heart have been struck with the worst news any parent could imagine....

About a month ago their funny, cheeky, wonderful 11 year old son Cody started complaining of headaches and back pain. One day Cody had collapsed and was brought in for a CT scan in which the doctors found a brain tumor on his pineal gland and a tumor on his pituitary gland. 

Cody and his family were then medevaced to the BC children's hospital where doctors preformed emergency surgery to remove the fluid and blood off of Codys brain.  After a biopsy was preformed the family received the devastating news that Cody has Bi Focal Germinoma Brain Cancer.

With his diagnosis, Cody is expecting four months of Chemotherapy, followed by six weeks radiation. 

In roughly 2 months, after his Chemotherapy, Cody and his family will then travel to Seattle to undergo Proton Radiation. 

I have known Cody, his sister Kierra and his family for 9 years ... In those 9 years Taylor and Kirsten have been some of the most amazing friends I have met in my life, they would both honestly give you the shirts off their backs or their last bite of food. Our times on Boutin were amazing to say the least. 

I am doing this in the hopes that, while they have to go through such a trying time right now, that money of all things is not a factor..... so a wonderful family can focus on their baby (they are always babies) and cheering him on to overcome this awful disease.
