Hi! I’m Cody Bartels, a Neo-Traditional/Alternative Country Music Artist from Tacoma, WA!

I’ve spent the last 3 years playing shows all over the Pacific Northwest and made a run out to Montana this last spring. I’ve also done two solo/duo tours down in Alabama!

I grew up listening to country music, and I’m very passionate about what I like to call “REAL” country music. I stand by the old school honky tonk standards that my band and I play, almost to a fault.

Trial after trial, and error after error, I’m really proud of the progress made and I’m ready to take the next step in production quality for my project. That, however, isn’t something that comes as easy as you’d think.

Unfortunately, making high quality recordings means that this next step will be even more financially trying than any in the past, and it hasn’t been a walk in the park.

If you know me, you know I’ve got no problem asking for advice or for a helping hand, but it’s taking a lot for me to put my hand out. I’ve put this off for quite a while now, but I think it’s time I make the move.

All I really know is I’ve got some songs that I’m really really proud to have wrote. In my opinion, they’re my best work yet. I have a great opportunity to record with one of the PNW finest singer-songwriters, and I don’t want to have to pass it up.

There’s plenty of of folks out there that need help far more than I do, but if you’ve made it this far, and feel like helping out a local Country artist trying to make it in the age of TikTok dances and mumble rap, here’s your shot.
