Update 3/21/26: Cody has now developed a fever and pneumonia. We know it’s pretty common being on life support but he still needs all the prayers.

On Wednesday March 18th 2026 around 1:30 pm Cody went to DeKalb hospital for a diabetic problem. As he got there they did alot of blood work and scans everything came back okay besides his white blood count was very high at the time. They admitted him to watch over his blood sugar. Later on that evening he took a turn for the worst he then started having bad headaches and dizziness. He became unresponsive so they transferred him to parkview north and on his way down there he flat lined they brought him back and they rushed and did a scan on his brain and they found out he had a really bad stroke and he had a blood clot in the back of his brain and they also found some dead tissues on the brain so they had to have immediately brain surgery to remove the dead pieces of the brain. Surgery went okay he has a long road to recovery ahead of him. The doctors are not sure how he is gonna act or be when he wakes up. We do know hes gonna be off work for a while not sure how long. We are asking for help to keep Cody afloat while he is on life support He’s going to have to have another brain surgery to put his skull back together.
