Help Codey Become An RVT

Hello! My name is Codey Kraft. I am a Lead Veterinary Assistant at the Kearny Mesa Veterinary Center in San Diego. I am currently in my 12th week of a 17-week program to get my RVT license and have come to a financial snag. I was initially getting the cost of the course taken care of by my former employer; he then sold the practice and is now backing out of an agreement we had to cover the cost. So I am asking if anyone can help me cover these, now, unexpected fees before 05/01/2022 so that I won't incur interest and participate in the VNTE exam afterward.

A little bit about myself:

My name is Codey Kraft; I was born in Heidelberg, Germany, in 1989. I grew up moving around for the first little bit of my life due to my father being in the military. I've lived in Germany, Massachusetts, Colorado, and we finally settled on Minnesota as I went into 1st grade. Since I can remember, I've always wanted to have a career in the animal field. I participated in FFA my entire high school career, in addition to football, basketball, track, band, choir, speech, drama, yearbook, you name it (I was a bit of an overachiever). In FFA, one activity I excelled in was Small Animal Care. I always placed high enough to participate at the State level, and my senior year, I placed 1st and was eligible to go to Nationals! After high school, I attended the University of Minnesota to go to Veterinary School. I was unable to make that aspect of my goals possible, so I settled with a degree in Animal Science with an emphasis on Companion Animal Care. After graduating high school, my husband (also named Cody) and I decided to make a very big move out to San Diego. Once out here, I started working in the restaurant business and applied to multiple animal care facilities. I ended up volunteering at the San Diego Zoo in addition to, finally, acquiring my current job at KMVC.

I have been working at my current job as a CVA for a little over two years now, and I am working on the next big step in my career by becoming an RVT. If anyone is able to contribute by helping me achieve my goals, I would be forever grateful.
