Hi, my name is V and Coconut is not just my cat. He’s part of our little family, just me, my dog, and Coconut, side by side every day.
I found him on the street when he was only a few days old, tiny, fragile, and completely dependent. I raised him from the very beginning, feeding him, keeping him warm, and helping him grow into the loving, playful cat he is today.
A few days ago, something terrible happened. Coconut was attacked by a dog. It all happened so fast, and I’ll never forget the fear of seeing him hurt and helpless. I rushed him to the vet, terrified of what they might say. Unfortunately the attacker disappeard and is taking no responsability.
What makes this even harder is that just three weeks before, my dog was also attacked, this time by a pitbull. It’s been an incredibly stressful and emotional time, and it’s heartbreaking to see how much damage can happen when dogs are not properly controlled. I truly believe that having a dog comes with responsibility, they should be handled safely and not left off-leash if they can put other animals or humans in danger.
Coconut’s injuries are serious. He needs surgery, which is scheduled for Monday. The urgency of this situation makes everything even more overwhelming. The vet bills are already high and continue to grow, but this surgery is essential to give him a real chance to live.
Despite everything, Coconut has been incredibly strong. He’s fighting, recovering little by little, and still trying to show the same love he always has.
Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward Coconut’s medical care, especially his upcoming surgery and recovery.
If you’re not able to donate, sharing this would mean just as much.
Thank you for taking the time to read Coconut’s story and for helping give him a chance to heal and come back home safe and healthy.
