Help Coco Get Cataract Surgery

Hi, I'm Rikki, a self employed, single Mom of two beautiful girls and a yorkie-cross named Coco.

 

Coco is 5 years young, she is happy, sweet, gentle and loving. She truly is our best friend. She is always there when we need a hug, a playmate or a listening ear. She brings so much love and joy to our family.

 

We just received devastating news that our beloved pup needs cataract surgery in her right eye and without insurance the surgery comes with a heafty price tag that feels impossible right now as covid has taken a huge tole on my business and our finances.

 

Cataract surgery will bring back almost full vision to her eye and the artificial lens will prevent future cataracts from forming.

 

Without the surgery she will be in pain requiring life-long medication and there are other risks such as developing glaucoma (which needs a different surgery) and or total loss of vision/ removal of her eye .

 

When I told my daughters that we wouldn't be able to do the surgery they cried and said “Mommy why don’t you ask for help?”. This comment humbled me and with the encouragement of my friends & family I set up this fundraiser.
