We went to our first home at 12 weeks old, and they didn’t socialise us and gave us back to our breeder when we were about 7 months old and we were not friendly with other dogs.

We then went to a charity and they placed us in another home that was set up to fail from the start. We were kept in a summer house at the bottom of the garden. We were never walked and we lived with 3 frenchies and 1 chihuahua and we did not get on with them (which is why they shut us away at the bottom of the garden). We were not looked after and we smelled of our own urine. Coco got pregnant and had to have her pregnancy terminated.

We went back with our breeder but we didn't get on with the other dogs in the house and we kept getting into fights with them.

The vets have said we are well mannered and well behaved.

We just get scared of other dogs & want to protect each other.

We had to be moved again because we were going to be put to sleep if our breeder couldn't find us a home.

We are now with a temporary foster who looks after us, takes us for runs in a big field, cooks us fresh food & tells us she loves us a lot. She is also slowly introducing us to other dogs and we are learning not to be afraid. We love pleasing our human and we now know how to sit & stay & we love seeing how happy it makes our fosterer.

We love her too, but we know we can't stay because she has two other dogs who are staying with their grandpa while we're here.

Our favourite thing to do is snuggle up on the sofa and have cuddles with our foster mummy.

We desperately need to raise enough money for Coco & Bruno to be neutered asap (so they can, hopefully, stay together when they are adopted) and to pay for ongoing treatment for wounds caused by other dogs fighting with them.

Even £1 would be amazing. If everyone that saw this fundraiser gave just £1, we'd raise the money in no time at all.

We couldn't bear to see these two wonderful characters put to sleep. They've been through so much mistreatment. It's just heartbreaking. They are the loveliest, gentle, cuddly pooches & they deserve a life where they are free from fear, fed and cared for and get lots of cuddles.

I'm a volunteer for Pads4pooches and I'm collecting this money on behalf of this non-profit, rescue rehoming service.

All monies collected will go directly to the care of Coco & Bruno.
