Due to an unexpected period of family financial strain, we’re reaching out for support for our sweet Coco Bean, our 9½-year-old Jack Russell mix who has been the heart of our home! Coco Bean is the sweetest, most empathetic little soul—always tuned in to how everyone is feeling. She loves long naps curled up with her big sister Hope and enjoys walks with her mom, dad, and little brother Chase. Recently, Coco Bean was diagnosed with late-stage periodontal disease, a painful condition that now requires urgent care. Left untreated, severe dental disease can affect not only her comfort but also her kidneys and heart. Our veterinarian has estimated that the cost for extensive tooth extractions and anesthesia will be approximately $2k+ as almost all of her teeth will need to be removed. In addition, Coco Bean has been experiencing hip issues, and she will need X-rays and potentially arthritis medication so she can move comfortably and live pain-free.
