Coco Bean is currently hospitalized and fighting for his life.

He was suddenly diagnosed with Immune-Mediated Thrombocytopenia (IMT), a rare and life-threatening autoimmune disease in which his immune system is attacking his own platelets. This has caused severe bruising, internal bleeding, pain, and has required ICU-level veterinary care, including blood transfusions, aggressive immune-suppressing treatment, and constant monitoring.

Coco is still hospitalized, and his doctors have told us that the next several days are critical. IMT is unpredictable and can require extended hospitalization, additional treatments, and long-term medication. We are doing everything possible to give him a fighting chance, but the cost of this emergency care has quickly become overwhelming.

Coco Bean is our beloved 3-year-old Shih Tzu and a true member of our family. He is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and full of joy. He brings comfort and happiness into our home every day and has the gentle, loving personality Shih Tzus are known for. He is our constant companion, and we cannot imagine life without him.
