Help Build Shelters for Rescue Horses

Winter is around the corner and Cobh Rescue Horses are in desperate need of funds to build 2 shelters , lay concrete and fix the main paddock fence which fell over last week.

The cost of these repairs and extensions are estimated between €6000 and €7000 . The paddock fence is urgent so we will be using the funds we have generated in the past few months to get the fence up as soon as possible.

1. Main Paddock - fencing - wooden fencing and poles in concrete 10m

2. Main Paddock Shelter Extension onto old shelter plus concrete and fencing around the side 5x4m

3. Bottom Paddock Shelter, concrete and drainage. 5x4m

Cobh Rescue Horses (CRH) is a volunteer run group, with the aim of rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing equines in Ireland. We do not receive any government funding. Our costs include veterinary, farrier and dental care, feed, supplements, deworming & lice treatments, passports and transportation.

CRH is Registered Charity (Charity Registration Number 20205363). We started caring for abused and neglected animals in February 2016.

Our purpose is to assist neglected, abandoned, abused and sick horses that come into our care, with the aim of moving them on to a new permanent home, through adoption or fostering.
