This is Cobalt. On August 31st, he was tragically hit by a car, leaving him with severe facial trauma and a broken pelvis. Despite the pain and fear he endured, Cobalt’s sweet and loving spirit never wavered—he immediately stole the hearts of every nurse and doctor at the Emergency Vet.

X-rays revealed that his pelvis is displaced in a way that requires surgery from a specialized orthopedic surgeon. Without this procedure, Cobalt won’t be able to heal properly or regain his quality of life. The surgery involves placing a plate to stabilize his bones, giving him the chance to walk, run, and cuddle again like the affectionate cat he is.

Cobalt’s family didn’t hesitate to rush him to the emergency vet, draining their savings to ensure he received immediate care. The ER visit alone cost $2,500. Now, they are faced with an even greater financial challenge:
