Help Coach Tim Represent Croatia in International Lacrosse

Hi everyone,

My name is Timothy Ivancich—some of you may know me as Coach Tim, or maybe we've shared the field playing lacrosse together over the years. I’m excited to share an incredible opportunity and ask for your support on this journey.

I have the ability to represent Team Croatia in the 2025 European Lacrosse Championship (7/10-7/19), with the goal of competing in the 2027 Lacrosse World Championship, and ultimately the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

This dream comes with a lot of logistical and financial challenges. Your generous support will help cover travel expenses, lodging, tournament fees, meals, and the process of obtaining a Croatian passport—something I'm eligible for through my grandparents, who were born and raised in Croatia.

Why This Means So Much to Me

I first picked up a lacrosse stick in 6th grade and never looked back. After graduating from Southern Regional High School, I immediately began coaching—giving back to the sport that shaped me. Over the past decade, I've coached youth and high school lacrosse across the country—in New Jersey and Colorado—and have continued to play in men’s leagues and tournaments along the way.

For the past three years, I’ve proudly served as the Varsity Defensive Coordinator at Vail Mountain School, following previous coaching roles at Vail Valley Lacrosse Club and Stafford Recreational Lacrosse Club.

Lacrosse has given me lifelong friendships, unforgettable experiences, and a deep sense of community—and now I have the chance to bring all of that to the international stage while honoring my Croatian heritage.

If we qualify for the Olympics, this support will be even more essential as we prepare for the biggest stage in the sport.

Any funds raised beyond my immediate needs will be donated to the local lacrosse programs I’ve coached with over the years, as well as the Croatian National Lacrosse Team, which currently receives no national funding.
