As some already may know, Coach Speegle was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer in August. He has since undergone surgery to remove the cancer from his lung, but during the process, doctors elected to remove his left lung. He is healing well and in good spirits. Needless to say this has permanently limited his mobility GREATLY. His home has long flights of stairs to both the bathroom and the laundry areas. Unfortunately, Coach no longer has the ability to safely navigate those flights of stairs on a daily basis and him having to leave his home would be devastating. This is why we are hoping to renovate and remodel the empty bedroom located on the main floor into a full bathroom to suit his needs with accessible laundry as well. We are hoping to help him stay active and positive. We can’t stress how much this would mean to him!!
