Help Coach Ron Curtis’ Cancer- Fight B Cell Lymphoma

Hi, I am Coach Ron Curtis' daughter, Jackie. I currently live in Texas. My dad was fine a month ago, coaching and teaching PE. He began having night sweats, fevers, and leg weakness. He thought he had covid but has been suddenly diagnosed with B cell lymphoma, a cancer that is commonly found in the advanced stages when diagnosed. It is metastatic cancer that started in the lymph system, not detected early typically by a lump, bump, etc. It has spread to his liver, spleen, and bone. We transferred him to a place he has lived before -Hannibal, MO, because his previous primary doctor was there to get treatment, which is Quincy, Illinois. I live in Texas and have been commuting. My parents packed up a few belongings when they left Florida because he would have died before being seen! They don’t even have their car or belongings as my Dad has been in and out of the hospital in Quincy. It's unacceptable the way cancer patients are treated, the amount of time to get help from an oncologist, etc. and I am going back and forth to advocate as I am an MSN ER RN! If you are able to help them with travel, and medical expenses, moving expenses or help my mom in any way, as now neither of them can work and have limited retirement, we would be forever grateful!!! I am doing all I can financially for them and am missing work. Most importantly your prayers mean so much! ❤️ Thank you!
