Coach Nick has been an integral part of LGHS swimming for over 10 seasons.  He has helped swimmers of all levels and brings such a positive vibe to our team.  The closure of school and the LGHS pool has shut down his only source of income, the Polar Bears Swim Club.  The LGS Recreation department has stopped collecting the monthly dues from his team members, so he will have no income until the Shelter in Place is lifted and it is safe to resume normal activities.

The LGHS team has typically held a swim-a-thon each season to help support the team's activities that are not funded by the Athletic Department (pizza parties, varsity overnighter, banquet, etc.).  While we will not need donations to support these events this year we are hoping you will consider supporting this virtual fundraiser.  The typical ask is $50 per family.  We will be able to meet our fundraising goal and help Coach Nick if each family contributes this amount. 

We understand these are hard times for everyone and completely understand if you are unable to contribute.
