After returning home from his oldest daughter's wedding, "Coach Ken" unexpectedly became seriously ill and had no choice but to undergo a quadruple bypass and valve replacement. Recovery is expected to be prolonged. Both the emotional burden and financial cost to his family have been tremendous. Ken spends every working day helping  students with special needs, and in the evenings, he works as a baseball coach to young athletes.  Not only does Ken work two jobs, he also provides daily care to his wife Laura's mother, who lives in the family home.  In addition to the loss of Ken's income for the coming months, the family now has to seek extra assistance to care for his mother-in-law  since Ken is no longer able to do so.
