We are the Whatcom Wolverines. We’re a small softball club that is more like family. One of our family has suffered a tragic loss and we need to jump in to help! Coach Karly Connell has been coaching with us for 3 years now. Her oldest daughter is one of our young athletes and her youngest daughter is old enough now to play too. This family had their 8 year old cousin ripped out of their lives on January 13th in Florida in a horrific way. Karly’s nephew, Michael, was riding his bike in his driveway when he was attacked by two dogs and killed. Our hearts are broken for them.

We are trying to pool our community resources together to help get Karly, her husband Frank, and their two daughters to Florida to be with their family during this difficult time. If you can, please donate a few dollars to help them get across the country. Share this message too.
