Help Coach Chip with Medical Expenses
Donation protected
On Wednesday March 7, my uncle Don (Chip) Eslin experienced a TIA while sitting in his parked truck at a shopping center. Luckily a concerned passerby noticed something was wrong and called an ambulance. Chip was kept in the in hospital overnight but unfortunately suffered a significant stroke the next morning and began his long journey to recovery.
Chip was left with partial paralysis on his left side of his body affecting the use of his left arm and left leg. His vision and speech were also affected. After ten days he was released to go home in the care of his wife Cheryl and sons Ryan, David and Brandon and the rest of their extended family. Chip requires 24 hour care which makes it challenging for Cheryl to work.
Chip has always given to his community as a coach and mentor and as a friend. He served ten years as the commissioner of the Cape St Clair youth league football for Anne Arundel County. In addition to that Chip volunteered to coach youth football for the youth league as well as Broadneck High School passing league and local boys club and AAU boys and girls basketball.
Chip has coached and mentored hundreds of kids in and outside of his community.
‘Coach Chip’ has always taken great care to listen and care about the kids on his teams, creating a family atmosphere where everyone is included!
Now it is our turn to care for him.
We are asking if you are able to please donate whatever you can to help with ongoing medical expenses for PT, OT and ST as well as household living expenses that have overwhelmed their family.
Chip has a long road ahead of him, but with our help, we are confident that he will get back to doing what he loves!! Helping others!! Thank you for your consideration!
