Help Coach Brian Get Back on the Road

Let's help Coach Brian buy a car!!!!

A few months ago, Coach Brian's car was involved in a car accident and was totaled. Coach Brian needs our help so he can buy a car and have it outfitted to fit his needs.

For those of you who don't know Coach Brian, he was born and raised here in GR and graduated from Creston High School in 2004. Immediately after graduating, Coach Brian joined the Navy and was stationed on an aircraft carrier in Norfolk, VA from 2004-2009. In 2006, he went on a 9-month deployment and has been to Cyprus, Portugal, Italy, and Dubai.

Coach Brian has been married to his wife, Raelene, for 17 years and has 2 daughters. His oldest works as a recreational therapist here in Grand Rapids and is studying to be an occupational therapist. His youngest is a junior at Cedar Springs High School. His father also lives with the family.

Coach Brian was playing wheelchair tennis at MVP Crahen when he met Coach Mickey, who was volunteering with Mary Free Bed Wheelchair Tennis. Coach Mickey asked Coach Brian to volunteer with GR Parks and Rec Tennis in the Park and eventually asked him to coach JV tennis at East Grand Rapids High School. Coach Brian has been coaching at EGR for 7 years.
