When I saw this screen trying to check my email one last time it was the reality that the ride was over and in that moment I had to face the reality that my termination was real and that hurt.
2020 saw many customer facing industries suffer from the pandemic fitness, wellness, human performance, sports performance sectors were all severely impacted. As such I was furloughed starting in April 6th 2020. On December 23rd I was notified that the facility I was at would not be reopening and as a result my termination would be December 31st.
I chased employment with EXOS for 5 years after my internship applying to dozens of roles before being hired on. I look back at my 4 years and I'm immensely proud of the phenomenal people I was able to serve, the leadership team that helped me developed into not only a better coach but also a better person.
I'm grateful for the 500+ lives I was able to impact during my time with EXOS. Unfortunately the outlook isn't bright for a rebound in fitness until the summer (with the most optimistic outlooks) at the earliest. As such I'm pursuing not only coaching roles but also any jobs that will fulfill my desire to continue helping people during this time.
For those I worked with during my time at EXOS, thank you!
