Everyone who knows Coach knows he’s one of the best dogs you could ever have or be around. A dog that loves absolutely everyone, especially children. One of the gentlest and sweetest dogs I have ever had. I originally got Coach to help me with my depression and anxiety which he has tremendously improved from the day he came home.

When I got Coach I never expected to be faced with the hardship of cancer, but recently that has been the reality. Coach has been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in his left back leg. For the past month and a half he has been limping and in pain even while being given pain meds. Our options to keep him happy and pain free is to get his leg amputated and start chemotherapy treatments. His surgery is scheduled for October 7th already, but I am not in the best financial situation to support this costly surgery. I work full time and I’m still struggling to find the means to support this journey. Coach is only 4 years old and I expected him to be around for plenty more years before saying goodbye to my best friend, he still has a lot of life to live if we can come up with the funds for his treatment. Anything helps!
