Hi everyone, friends, family, and kind strangers,

Some of you know me as Lewis, some as Mama Lew, some call me Stacey, and some of you may not know me at all, but you do know Coach Jalan Batiste.

Today, I’m reaching out on behalf of someone who has given so much to others. If you know Coach Batiste, you know the size of his heart. He’s an incredible husband, a devoted father, a passionate teacher, and a mentor who shows up for his students and athletes day in and day out. He’s the kind of man who gives without hesitation, always lifting others up when they need it most.

Now, it's our turn to lift him up.

On his way home from work recently, Jalan was involved in an unexpected and unfortunate accident. A truck ahead of him lost its load, including cement blocks and wooden pallets, spilling debris across the road. Because of traffic, Jalan wasn’t able to safely avoid one of the cement blocks, and his car suffered significant damage.

The repairs required are extensive and include:

A used motor

Gaskets and fluids

Labor

This sudden incident has placed a heavy financial burden on Jalan and his family, and they need our help to get back on their feet.
