Master Chief Paul King died of pancreatic cancer months after retiring from a life of service in the United States Navy.
He and his family were robbed of a rewarding and relaxing post-service life. He was looking forward to 4-wheeling with his daughter and taking motorcycle rides when spring did finally hit.
He and his family never got this chance.
His wish was to buried at sea in Hawaii.
