Help Clyde Heal His Heart

My name is Ross, and I’m organizing this fundraiser alongside a group of Clyde’s close friends. We’ve come together because we know Clyde would never ask for help — but right now, he truly needs it.

If you know Clyde, you know he’s the kind of friend everyone wants in their corner. He’s dependable, kind, and honest — always quick with a pun, a laugh, or a well-timed story. Being around him just makes life lighter. Whether he’s lifting spirits with his humor or showing up when it matters most, Clyde has a way of making people feel supported.

A couple of months ago, Clyde started feeling unwell. It finally reached a point where he had to go to the emergency room. Doctors discovered that his body wasn’t expelling fluids properly, forcing his heart to work dangerously hard. The diagnosis: congestive heart failure.

Despite all of this, Clyde has met recovery the way he meets life — with grit, humility, and his signature sense of humor. But as you can imagine, the financial strain is mounting. Between prescriptions (one alone is $600/month), reduced work hours, and basic expenses, he could use a hand.

This fundraiser is our way of showing up for him — to return some of the care, joy, and presence he’s shared with so many of us. Whether it’s $10 or $100, every donation helps lighten the load and gives Clyde the space to focus on healing.
