Established in 2023, Club Rambutan is a grassroots magazine, digital art residency, and creative collective that serves emerging artists from marginalized communities. Our mission is to create accessible opportunities that platform, connect, and celebrate intersectional artists both in our neighborhoods and around the world.
We are a team of 100% volunteer writers, designers, and event planners based across teams in Phoenix, San Francisco, and New York City. The dream is to open a brick-and-mortar multipurpose studio in one of these regions to both continue our work and offer a safe, reliable community space for local creatives to grow and gather in. We are also fundraising to supplement our Artist Resource Group's (ARG) services to better serve the cohort artists involved in our biannual residency.
So far, we have published 19 artists across the US, Europe, and Asia, published 3 issues, and hosted a variety of events. from fashion shows to art supply swaps to a femme & female-focused thrift market, we want to continue what we're doing...in our very own space!
Right now, the only way we make money is through event ticket and magazine sales, and your donation (of any amount) will help us get closer to our dream. Thank you!
