Hey everyone, we are the Club Golf team at NC State, and our mission is to grow the game of golf by providing a welcoming environment for players of all levels. For new players, the club helps them learn the game of golf. For more experienced players, the club provides the opportunity to compete and represent our university on a competitive stage.

 

Our A-Team made it to the national championship for the first time last semester and, against all odds, pulled off a playoff victory against UF for NC States' first National Championship!! Additionally, we had 2 first team all-tournament finishers, including the individual National Champion as part of our team (Max Johnson (1st), Jose Mejia (4th)). This semester our club competed in all 3 regional tournaments with both an A and a B team, providing more individuals the opportunity to experience competitive events. Our A Team won one and finished runner-up in 2 events.

 

In just a few weeks, our team will travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, to defend our National title in La Pauite Resort. Given that our club is a student-run organization, even with the school's support, we estimate it to be approximately $10,000 shy of covering the expenses of this trip. We are seeking donations to help cover the cost of the extensive list of expenses this trip entails. We must cover Airfare, Hotel/AirB&B, Tournament cost, Practice Round, Car rental, Gas, Food, Gear and more.
